Ashley Reddox, Reg PT
Ashley obtained her masters degree in physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2011. Prior to this she completed an honours specialization (B.A.) in Kinesiology at Western University. Ashley has a strong interest in Women's Health and Rehabilitative Pilates and has also completed a number of courses in manual therapy to treat orthopedic conditions. She also has training in concussion management, athletic taping as well as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. Ashley’s treatment approach is patient centered and is geared towards helping her clients achieve their goals. She utilizes a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education. Ashley has experience treating all types of orthopedic conditions and has worked with clients ranging from professional to amateur athletes, adults and children. Having grown up in Whitby, Ashley is excited to serve her community and help others get back to and continue to live healthy, active lives. |
Cara Coghlan, Reg PT
Cara completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Prior to this, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Specialization in Kinesiology from Queen’s University. She has received certifications in concussion diagnosis and management, manual therapy, taping, acupuncture, laser therapy and ergonomic assessment. She represented Canada at the Global Health Institute in Norway, where she learned about disability and its impact on rehabilitation. Cara has experience treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries in athletes, adults and kids. She has worked in private practice, acute care, and rehabilitation settings. In these settings. Cara enjoys traveling, playing sports, and relaxing at her cottage up North. Cara is very excited to be a member of the Spot Physiotherapy team. As a long-time resident of Brooklin, she enjoys treating individuals within her community. She is dedicated to providing patient-centred care and educating patients about their condition or injury. Cara is passionate about helping individuals achieve their therapeutic goals so that they can lead active, healthy lives. |
Steven Genis, Reg PT
Steven completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2020. He previously competed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UOIT in 2016. Steven leads our Athletic Development Program!
He enjoys working and engaging with people across a variety of ages, from teens to older adults, and he looks forward to working with active individuals to get them back to their favourite pastimes or ready to engage in new ones.
Steven likes to incorporate a balance of manual therapy, education, and exercise in his treatment sessions, and is excited to use the resources at Spot Physiotherapy to help his patients achieve their goals. Steven believes that in order for one to promote a healthy lifestyle one has to adopt a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys hiking through forests, running, and working out at home. He also participates in more unconventional hobbies such as juggling, bouldering, and slacklining. When you see him, ask him how his journey to learning a handstand is coming along!

Jennifer Ogilvie, Reg PT
Jennifer is a physiotherapist whose drive comes from her passion for developing a relationship of trust, encouragement, and unwavering support with each of her clients. Her list of past and present clients crosses the spectrum of both age and ability, having treated everyone from young children and weekend warriors, to professional and Olympic athletes. She thrives on being able to help her clients achieve their personal goals, establishing herself as a dedicated member of their medical team.
Jennifer holds an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University (2005) and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Toronto (2007). She has completed an extensive list post-graduate courses, including but not limited to Level 3 manual therapy, pelvic health, McKenzie MDT training, Graston IASTM, and sport taping. In addition, she has provided clinical education to master’s students from Queens University’s physical therapy program and has had the unique experience of working in Haiti with a medical team assisting earthquake survivors. You can find her early research published in the Canadian Respiratory Journal.

Julie Chalaris, Reg PT
Julie has been working at Spot Physiotherapy since 2019. She has had a lengthy career in orthopedic physiotherapy treating sports injuries, post operative clients as well as treating those suffering from degenerative conditions. She has a special interest in concussion care and leads our Baseline Concussion Clinics every year.

Heather Duque, Reg PT
Heather completed her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University after graduating with distinction from the Human Kinetics undergraduate program at the University of Guelph. As a lifelong learner, she has taken several post-graduate courses including vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, evidence-based cupping, neuro-proprioceptive taping, and osteoporosis management.
Heather assists people with their recovery from general orthopedic injuries and enjoys working with pre- and post-surgical patients, athletes, and everyone in-between. She specializes in vestibular rehabilitation and treats a variety of conditions, including BPPV, Meniere’s, UVL, BVL, and more. Heather also addresses a wider range of balance dysfunction and dizziness-related symptoms, with a focus on falls prevention.
During her many years’ experience as a Resident Physiotherapist, Registered Kinesiologist, Bonefit Trained Professional through Osteoporosis Canada, CSEP – Certified Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor, Heather has helped people reach their goals as they navigate various acute injuries and chronic conditions. She has a passion for education and invites her patients to take an active role in determining what their wellness journeys will look like.

Andrea Kovary RMT
Andrea has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2000 and a member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario. Andrea is very excited to be joining the talented group at Spot Physiotherapy. Being able to offer her patients multiple treatment options all in one location is an advantage to the patient and therapist. Some of the techniques used include Swedish massage, myofascial work, pregnancy massage, sports therapy, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy and general relaxation. Andrea’s love for fitness and nutrition drives her to maintain a balance in her life and strives for a holistic approach for herself, her family, and her patients. Andrea’s passion to care is always evolving and hopes to encourage a healthy active lifestyle to her community.

Maeghan Reilly, RMT
Maeghan became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2022 after graduating from Fleming College. She uses a variety of techniques including myofascial release, rhythmical mobilization, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage in hopes of addressing any physical or mental stress, decreasing pain and tension, and increasing range of motion. She also strives to ensure that each patient always leaves feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Maeghan works with each client to create a treatment plan based on their individual needs and goals. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and stages of life and can’t wait to have you on her table!
